The Centre for NanoHealth at Swansea University are looking for suitable applicants to apply for a post as a Research Assistant / Research Officer on the EPSRC funded project “Novel Point-of-Care Diagnostic Techniques for Dementia”.
This project is in collaboration with the University of Plymouth and the sucessful candiate will work within Swansea University’s £22m Centre for NanoHealth. The primary project goal is to develop graphene based sensors for detection of biomarkers linked to diagnosis of dementia. The researcher will work closely within Dr. Owen Guy’s sensors group and will also be actively encouraged to identify and engage in other projects within the group. These may encompass projects in the general areas of graphene devices, sensors and microfluidics.
The job is up to 30 months but must be completed by January 2018.
