The printed electronics mission to South Korea in September will focus on chemicals and materials.
- Become part of a large government initiative for the development and commercialisation of printed electronics, led by Samsung Electronics
- Visit consortia members to present your solutions and take part in one-to-one meetings (e.g. GMP, Dongwoo Fine Chemicals, UNijet, Narae Nanotech)
- Take part in International Conference for Flexible and Printed Electronics (ICFPE) 2013 on Jeju Island, within a UK showcase stand and a hosted UK Innovation Reception
This mission will introduce specialist UK companies into the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy’s £36m funded project to develop printed electronics applications.
Significant opportunities exist in OLED Lighting / Digital Signage / Active Wallpaper / FPCB.
A central aim of the MOTIE project is to showcase South Korean capabilities in this arena during the Pyeong Chang Winter Olympics in 2018.
Overseas partner choices are due to be finalised this year, so this is the ideal opportunity to build on existing links and win new business within the project and beyond.
Market Access Funding of £650 is available for eligible companies to contribute to transport and hotel costs.
The OMIS fee for the mission is £408 which includes a 50% discount. A separate conference fee of approx. £355 is payable for ICFPE.
NB: a UKTI webinar takes place on 17 July 9.30am – 10.00am for more information on current business opportunities in South Korea.
Further details of this mission are available in the flyer.
