Innovations for the benefit of packaging and commercial printing

Date: 24th June 2015

Venue: Welsh Government Office, 1st Floor, 25 Victoria Street, London, SW1H 0EX

Time: 1 p.m. – 6 p.m.

This first colloquium of the recently formed “International Centre for Manufacture by Printing” (icmPrint) looks at recent developments and concepts that could provide benefit, reduce costs and increase value added for packaging and commercial printing.  This wide ranging event covers topics which can have immediate impact, such as reducing colour changes and environmental bills, combined with some of the latest concepts and thoughts on future developments for innovative packaging.  Some of these stem from the EU COST project FP1104 on ”New possibilities for print media and packaging – combining print with digital” (i.e. new media, the www etc) who have enabled us to fly in experts from Holland and Finland to compliment the UK experts.
