Research topics: Innovative early-phase or advanced research projects related to Henkel’s adhesives products.
Where: at IMB-CNM(CSIC) working in the Henkel-IMB joint programme addressed to materials, equipment and processes around printed technologies for the display market.

Henkel is looking for talented scientists with an interest in industrial research to support several challenging R&D projects.
IMB-CNM (CSIC) is one of the CSIC Research & Development centres whose targets are centred on the growth and improvement of activities in the area of microelectronics in Spain, carried out in two basic directions: in R&D activities by the development, design and manufacture of micro/nano-technologies and related integrated devices and systems; and in the provision of technological support to industry as a means of establishing and maintaining the level of competitiveness required within the field of micro/nano-electronic development.
The programme: You will work in the core of this Henkel-IMB joint programme in a highly dynamic and international team on innovative early phase or advanced research projects. The programme offers you the opportunity to become acquainted with Henkel’s adhesives, sealants and surface technologies through challenging, application-oriented experimental work. In the course of your work you will be involved in all aspects and stages of your project, from inception to delivery and gather valuable experience in industrial research. The duration of the programme is 12 months with the option of extension.
Your Qualifications: You hold a PhD degree in physics, material science, electronic or industrial engineering or related fields with strong materials science background. Candidates having experiences in physical (optical, electrical, mechanical) characterizations, surface/interfacial materials, film formation, colloidal science and particle dispersion, nanotechnology and printing technology, would be a plus.
You enjoy application-oriented experimental work and are proficient in documenting your results.
Due to our strong international focus, good English communication skills are essential. An open minded and self-motivated personality is important, as well as the ability to work well in an interdisciplinary team.
